We are looking for an EU Office Assistant to join our EU Office in Brussels ideally for more than 5 months starting from 2nd of March 2020.
• effective communication of Paragon Europe to prospective project partners-audience development, negotiation;
• contact with partners in Brussels and across Europe via email, phone, meetings;
• administrative support;
• attending events related to international mobility and EU projects;
• research on international mobility programmes such as Erasmus+, Youth Guarantee etc.;
• gathering, compiling, and sorting of data to determine target markets;
• internal and external communication on behalf of the office;
• translations of files, articles, documents
• academic background in one of the following courses or related areas: Office management, Administration, Communication, International Relation, Public Relation;
• confident communication skills with team members, partners and customers
• strong analytical and management skills;
• eagerness to work with a multinational/lingual team;
• self-motivated attitude with good time management/organisational skills;
• working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum B2 spoken and written English (knowledge of other official EU languages is an asset).
Note that this is an unpaid internship and it is highly recommended to have a mobility grant agreement from a sending organisation such as a University, Region or Chamber of Commerce.

Paragon Europe is looking for an EU Project Intern to join our EU Office in Brussels ideally for 5 or 6 months starting from 9th of January.
• Enrolled or achieved a University Degree in any related area of study
• Knowledge of European direct funding programmes such as H2020 and calls for tenders
• Interest in business development and public relations is an advantage
• Advanced level of English and good knowledge of other languages (French, German, Spanish and/or Italian) is considered as an asset
• Monitor calls for proposals from the European Institutions
• Search for partners in order to work together on EU funded projects such as Horizon2020, Erasmus+, and more
• Desk research
• Attend conferences on various topics (environment, sustainable development, ICT-information and communication technologies, innovation and entrepreneurship, cultural heritage, and tourism)
• Very well organised, with attention to detail
• Pragmatic, capacity to find solutions rapidly
• Capacity to take initiatives and responsibilities
• Very good oral, written, research and analytical skills
